Hey everyone!
So today I gave all my teachers cookies. Yes, I might possibly be a goody-goody at times but hey, when you have a giant box of cookies and have no clue what half of them are what would you do? Eat them and find out? Because some of them didn't look tasty in my opinion. Mainly because I don't like the big frosted sugar cookies. Anyways in journalism we presented our court cases. Ours was Morse vs. Frederick. It went well in my opinion except our teacher didn't let us finish the presentation because we put a little quiz on the power point and she didn't want people to have answers for the test for later. While everyone else was presenting though my friend and I ate marshmallows....with chopsticks. A little silly but we planned it earlier in the week to have an "Asian" Christmas. We exchanged gifts too. I got 10 years of good luck through these tiny little origami stars and a origami flower while I wrote a poem about a panda named Tao and a panda peewee pillow pet. You should have seen my friend's reaction to the panda. It was amazing. She kept talking in that high pitched baby voice and was petting it and hugging it all class. That's what I love about Christmas. Giving all those cool gifts and seeing the people's reactions to them. It's the most amazing feeling but so hard to describe. I just hope that on Christmas day I'm on the other end. But of course I gave my mom a really good present. But I can't tell you because she reads my blog xD. So anyways back to the Asian Christmas. My friend and I are planning on watching some movies over the break in Chinese and eat Chinese food with chopsticks. So I thought I should practice a little. However, it's a whole lot easier to eat marshmallows than things like rice or noodles with chopsticks. I just hope that later I'll get the hang of it. There's one thing I'm really excited about though.......ITS FINALLY CHRISTMAS BREAK!! I've been counting down the days since the beginning of November! I've been waiting so long for this because I think its my favorite break with the beautiful snow outside and to relax inside with cozy slippers and pajamas and possibly hot chocolate. Something about it just seems nice you know? Like you just feel....cheerier. I absolutely hate the feeling you get around Halloween though. I just don't really like all those scary things popping up out of nowhere. Of course I say this while being home alone... I wonder what I'm going to do this Christmas Break. Maybe I should go ice skating. I did that a couple years back and it was fun. I've always wanted to learn all those crazy jumps and flips that ice skaters do, but I'm just not coordinated enough yet. Sorry if this is a little ramble ramble but I got to get all this out of my mind. Okay, so what should I get my dogs for Christmas? Last year I got them these little red and green bones that they ate over the course of the day but I want to do something special. Mainly because I feel like giving a lot more this year that usual. I always walk down the Target aisles and see those gigantic bones in the shape of a candy cane. Oh boy that would take them days to finish. Maybe even weeks! That's what I should get them. That way they don't complain about treats so much. It's like every time they do something good they want a treat. So I'll just tell them to go get their candy cane bone. I'm just worried about how much it will cost. Because if you saw them you'd know...they are HUGE. Not just little candy cane bones..no they are gigantic things that come in one big clear bag. I guess I'll have to go to Target soon to find out. I should probably stop writing now xD.

December 15...where's the snow?
Hey everyone!
So today was the last day of English, algebra, and geography for the rest of the year! Of course, tomorrow I'll be having the last biology, French, and journalism class. I'm so excited because its 10 days till Christmas and I'm getting a loft and a shark. Plus a few other things that I have absolutely no clue about. Anyways today I've been on and off sick. Coughing and runny rose especially. It's always when winter comes around that I get sick more and more. Except for the fact that there's been so snow except for about an inch and it already melted away! It's been 50 degrees and raining on the 15 of December. You have to love Indiana right? Well, I just wish that there will be a white Christmas because what's Christmas without a little snow? Of course there's also the southern states that rarely get snow but hey, they can have fake snow! I sure hope that this sickness goes away fast because tonight I'm going to a Christmas concert that my brother is playing in. That is, if the runny nose and coughing goes away. The only reason I wouldn't want to go with the coughing and sneezing is if there's a dead silence moment and my body suddenly decides to sneeze/cough. Talk about awkward.
Sincerely,
Tinkerbell

Hear the JAWS music yet?
Hey everyone!
So I have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about right now. Well, at least there's no guard today. Remember how I was so incredibly excited for making the open guard? I somewhat (key word: SOMEWHAT) take that back. Mainly because it's going to take over my life until the middle of April. Yup, from now until April I'm booked. There's no time for anything except for on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sometimes we even have practices on Sundays! It's a bit crazy considering people's plans for their Christmas vacations and spring breaks. Considering we have practice on both breaks. At least it's not every day though. There are paint days on the 21st and 22nd and then we start practicing again on the 28th. So I'll sorta have a Christmas this year! My Christmas wish this year is slowly but surely coming true! :D A while back I planned to build a loft bed with my grandpa and paint my walls red and tan/gold. We just got the wood and tools for the loft yesterday so now we can finally get started! The paint however, is a different story. You see, my mom isn't the greatest at painting and my aunt is an English teacher at a local middle school so she's busy all the time. Of course there's always my grandma and other aunts that can help but everyone has a crazy schedule lately. I just hope that it's all done by Christmas or at least New Years Eve. That would be my wish. Oh! I forgot to mention what's under my Christmas tree right now....go ahead and guess. You'll never get it. Okay, the thing that is under my Christmas tree right now is......a shark. Yup, I got a shark for Christmas. No it's not a real shark ( i wish) but it looks like one and swims like one. Except, it doesn't swim in water, it swims in air. I got one of those Air Swimmers Sharks for Christmas! I'm so excited to set it up and start flying it around my living room. Mainly because it'll freak out my brothers haha.
yup there he is! I can't wait till Christmas! 12 days left!

Tinkerbell

Ramble Ramble!
Hey everyone!
So I've be deprived of blogging for a week and I have sooo much to talk about so be ready for some rambling on and on about stuff.
Ok for starters we had our first guard practice and it was crazy. Our dance instructor taught us all these mad flips and now I'm incredibly sore and I have another practice tonight. My weekend is absoutely gone. I have practice tonight from 6 to 8:30 and tomorrow I have practice from 1 in the afternoon to 9 at night! that's 8 hours of guard! But wait there's more! In a couple weeks we will be doing 9 to 9 practices on saturdays! I'm freaking out because I'll never get any sleep on the weekends anymore which is what I usually do. Not only that my winter break is going to be full of guard stuff too! Three days after Christmas we start up again painting and practicing.
Next thing! It's 23 days till Christmas and 22 days till Christmas Eve! I'm so excited because I can't wait to see the smile on my mom's face when she see's what I got her. Of course I can't tell you what I got her because she sometimes reads this blog. Hint: She's going to LOVE it! I know she will, but I went to a special website that she has no clue about in order to confuse her. I'm being sneaky this year hehehe. Oh, and I have no idea if I'll be having a good Christmas for myself this year. Mainly because what I want can't be wrapped. I wish to redecorate my room and we've planned it for months and my grandpa and uncle are going to help me build a loft that has little stairs and my aunt is going to repaint my room red and gold!
Well, I thought I was going to be rambling on and on but I guess I'm not. Oh well, I'll think of other things to ramble about later!
Sincerely,
Tinkerbell

Oh...my...gosh.
Hey everyone!
So today I am absolutely shocked. You see, last night we had winterguard auditions and there we learned a new flag routine and a new dance routine. After that we performed them in groups. So I thought I did okay in the flag one and then I was practicing for the dance and suddenly I got a callback! Meaning I had a chance of being on the Open guard (a.k.a the varsity of guard) Then we did the dance and I thought I did awesome! Afterwards, we all sat down and my instructors talked to us about the season and what our shows will be. The AA guard's show is called "The Promise of Living" and its supposed to be all pretty and bright coral colors. Then, they talked about the Open guards show. I'm not exactly sure what it's called beside Tornado but it's sort of a symbolism thing. The tornado stands for something in your life that happened so fast and there was nothing you could do about it so the damage is stuck with you forever. But in the end we eventually move on. That's what the show is and after I heard that I was in tears because it completely connected with me. They showed us the music for it (Tornado by Jonsi and The Promise of Living by Aaron C.) I loved Tornado but the Promise of living sounded like a show we did before so I was upset because I thought that I'd hate the show. The next morning also known as today I went over to the cork board outside the band room and what do I see?

I MADE THE OPEN GUARD! Well, me and 2 other freshman but this has been our 4th year of winterguard and we've all improved so much since we were little 6th graders. Anyways I'm so excited for this season! But also terrified because I'm a freshman on the "varsity" team. It's scary and awesome at the same time. There's no words to describe how I feel about this. Happy Thanksgiving guys! My week of happiness is complete! Enjoy yours!

I hear jingle bells!
Hey everyone!
So I cannot wait until Christmas! I don't know about you guys but there is just a certain scent to Christmas that I absolutely love! All of the sparkly glass ornaments with the bright colorful lights just make me smile every single time I go downstairs from my bedroom. Not to mention finally seeing my gigantic tree with presents all over the bottom. Problem for me is all I want for Christmas is a redecorated room. I have all the color schemes planned out (red and gold/tan) and my uncle, grandpa, and I are going to build a loft! Yes, my very own loft bed with stairs leading up to the top and space on the bottom for my desk! I can't wait to have so much room to do other things! It's going to be so exciting! However, there's one holiday that we have to have before all of this Christmas stuff comes up: Thanksgiving. The best time for the best food in my opinion. My family's tradition is that we have thanksgiving at our house because it's entirely fall colors. Our kitchen lights are red yellow and brown and all of our furniture is fall colors. The only odd one out is my room which is bright blue. But that's not the reason I want it redecorated. The reasoning is that I want a more calm room with space to relax and hang out with friends. Anyways back to Thanksgiving. We celebrate at my house and everyone brings casserole or bread or, my favorite, sweet potatoes with marshmallows! So then we eat and we chill out for a bit and the guys usually watch whatever sports game is going on while the moms clean up and talk. During that time I do what I do best! Decorating for Christmas! I get the whole tree up myself and set up the lights and get all my favorite ornaments out and start scattering them all over the tree. After that we finally leave for our competitive part, bowling. All of us go to the stardust bowling alley and play all of our family against each other. Of course, the only time I get to bowl is once a year so I'm not the greatest at it. Especially after decorating and eating. So yeah! That is my thanksgiving! And guess what? Thanksgiving is next week! I'm happy for that. Except the problem is since colorguard is over winterguard is on the way. As in winterguard auditions are the week after thanksgiving. So much for an awesome sleep filled vacation right?
Sincerely,

It's over.
Hey everyone!
That is it, after Saturday November 12, 2011 the Somewhere in Time colorguard season was done for. And with that I'm incredibly sad because of the many memories I've made here. I may only be a freshman and have many shows to come but it's still depressing to know that I won't see any of my senior friends again. Okay, so there were moments where I wasn't exactly happy with how they treated me, but in the end we're all a huge guard family. With plenty of tears and plenty of cheers we all got through this season too fast. It feels as if it were only yesterday that we were learning the crazy dance routine our dance instructor Dustin made up in May. Suddenly its November and I'm sad that we won't be doing that dance again or hearing that classic Somewhere in Time music unless it's on DVD or our ipod. perhaps there is a way to post it here! I'll have to find that out. But anyways just a gist of how this season went.
Alright, it all started with a crazy dance we learned in May during tryouts and I was devastated by how horribly uncoordinated I was.
Next came the parade season, where we learned the "parade routine" and went to 3 parades. Each long and extremely hot. Along with the fact that we were forced to wear our t-shirts tucked in our khaki shorts. We also had to have our hair in a big poof in the front and a messy bun which I finally learned by pretty much the very end of the season.
Finally band camp came. Two of the longest weeks in my entire life and two of the hottest too. I learned that week go bring a water bottle cooler instead of usual plastic, otherwise the water becomes lukewarm and really gross. By the end of band cap we had finished most of part 1 and part 2, so on the last day all of our family came to see what we had so far.
After that came football games. Where we wore basically the same thing as we did parades except for black shorts. Hair was sadly the same too.
Then, my favorite of them all, performances finally came! Our first was a Concord Invitational where we always get first every single year. It's really no surprise to any of us about this performance, although it's kind of mean to believe that we'll always get first because you never know. After that was another performance where we sadly got 2nd to Homestead whom later got 1st at State Finals. BOA came too fast and we got 3rd place at regional. And then, BOA grand nationals was the next weekend, (a.k.a this weekend) and we rocked both prelims and semi-finals. But in the end we got 21 out of 33. None of us knows why that happened. Perhaps it's because of the Texas marching bands that come only a few years at a time. After that it was over, we didn't make finals and so everyone was crying. We had to watch finals of course because we already paid for our tickets. Then, I didn't ride the bus home, I had a separate hotel room with my family.
Now, it's over and there's no telling what next year's show will entail. I can never really predict what shows we will do, especially in Winterguard when last year we were a ship and a carousel. I just hope that I'll always remember this season. It's been one of the best! But now I can finally relax at home! For a month at least before winter guard starts. Let's hope that next year we'll make it to finals and be one of the top bands in America. We are LC after all, the Tribe of Pride.

11-11-11!
Hey everyone!
So today is 11-11-11 and I'm going to make a wish! Never has the Lake Central Tribe of Pride gotten to BOA finals and so all we do is sit in the stands watching the other bands that did. So my wish is that we do make it to finals because we got 3rd place at BOA regionals and this is BOA grand nationals so I'm just really hopeful that tomorrow is going to be our time to shine! Somewhere in Time has been one of the best shows I've known and I love how far we've gone. If we make it to finals I'm going to cry like crazy! But i'll try to calm myself down because then we have to put all of our makeup and hair and all that stuff ready. We left Wednesday night and then we performed while everyone was in school Thursday then came back in the afternoon only to leave again tonight! Silly right? Well, at least we get charter buses and stay in hotels this weekend. Since it's the last performance and there's so many amazing seniors that won't be coming back for Winter guard. I'm doing winter of course because that's what I've been looking forward to all these months! But how do you follow up a carousel and a ship? The world may never know.
Sincerely,
Tinkerbell

LC TOP got 3rd place!!!!
Hey everyone!
So, I'm extremely excited for the Lake Central T.O.P! Get got 3rd place at Bands of America Regional! I'm so incredibly excited because that's never happened before in all of LC History. Or at least, that I know of. But, of course, Avon won everything in our category and then Carmel was only a few points away from us. And by the way, just in case you didn't know, Carmel and Avon are THE teams of the state. They're usually always winning everything. We don't exactly know why because sometimes their shows confuse us all but they just always get 1st and 2nd place. Well, now Lake Central is a contender for at least 2nd place (I'm being optimistic) We've already beaten some of our greatest rivals like Marian Catholic and Lawrence Central ( haha LC) but anyways just wanted to post this because :D! GO LAKE CENTRAL TRIBE OF PRIDE!

Happy Halloween!
Hey everyone!
I have absoulutely no idea what I'm going to blog about right now. So prepare for some babbling on and on.
For starters, Happy Halloween!! BOO! Guess what I'm being for halloween, a dark angel! It's going to be awesome! I have this black and gold mask and these black feather wings and a black t-shirt and shoes. I didn't really feel like getting a big expensive costume because my brother got one and it was about $50! Talk about crazy right? Plus you're only going to wear it once so why spend so much money on one night? The whole idea confuses me. What also confuses me is Haunted Houses. There's this one haunted house by me that everyone goes to almost every single weekend. My question is, who really wants to pay to be scared. Honestly, I don't understand it at all. Why would you want to waste $12 on an hour of being scared out of your mind? All that blood and gore just creeps me out! There is absolutely no way that I am going anywhere near that house, nor am I going anywhere near the haunted hayride either. Just another way to waste money on freaky stuff. I am deathly afraid of those halloween clowns. Those guys are terrifying! I don't really mind the circus ones because hey, they're kind of fun. But it's the ones that are covered in blood with creepy smiles on their faces. Don't get me wrong I love the joker! Batman is one of my favorite superheros!(even though technically he's not a super hero, just a strong guy with millions of cool gadgets) What are you guys wearing for halloween? Are you going to a haunted house? You definately won't be seeing me there any time soon. Perhaps when there's a huge crowd big enough where I can be circled around without having to worry about getting creeped out. Or I could know everyone dressed up in those crazy costumes. At least they can't touch you at those haunted houses, that's the only thing that makes it a little bit ok. But running around with a mask and a chainsaw? Really?

State Finals: Judge troubles
Hey everyone!
So yesterday was State finals and there's a lot to say. The Lake Central T.O.P got 8th place. Why? Because of a penalty. The Judges did not have their act together and one judge let us start the show while another said we started too early. That, and for normal marching band shows the show doesn't start until the flags come up for the first time. So they started the clock way to early and we got another penalty for having our show be too long. All I hope is that on Monday this is all fixed and we get what we deserve which, without the penalties, we actually got 4th place. That would've made LC History right there! Let's just hope that next weekend there won't be as much trouble.
Sincerely,
Tinkerbell
P.S. I know this really short compared to all my other blog posts. I just didn't have much to say

Descriptive Narrative?
Hey everyone!
So for class today I have to write a decriptive narrative about my most exciting moment. Here it goes!
As the music started to play my nerves increased. I fixed my large gray hat with millions of shiny black feathers and fake pink roses along with my black leather gloves, smiled at the people passing us, and said good luck to all my friends as they showed me nervous looks. And as the seconds flew by our time had come. The colorguard and I raced into the field, holding the edges of our long gray dresses with lace in little splits on the ends. The crowd cheered and we performed. Ending the show with thousands of claps and shouts and cheers, along with a standing ovation. We had done it again. The Lake Central Tribe of Pride had wowed the crowd.
The moon turned brighter by the second as hundreds of people started to crowd around the semi truck. It's been only a matter minutes since the Lake Central Tribe of Pride was called as the very last band to go on to State Finals. Everyone was smiling and a pickup truck near by was handing out cookies for everyone. The whole crowd was chatting and eating popcorn and cookies when Mr. Harmon, the band director, stood up in the back of the semi truck wearing his usual hat, sunglasses, and orange windbreaker. "Congradulations," He said, "This, ladies and gentleman, is the 6th time in a row that we've gone to State!"
The group cheered and clapped, shouting into the wind. Other bands passed by and stared. Mr. Harmon tried to silence the band and continued.
"For the next three performances, it'll be 72 and sunny!" He yelled smiling. Again the crowd cheered as Mr. Harmon explained how great the performance was. At that exact moment, I completely forgot that it was freezing, or that we had a super long bus ride home. We were going to state finals! That's all that mattered! I was so incredibly excited that I bounced and cheered along with the rest of the band and colorguard. All my friends huddled together to keep warm and talk about the show. It was, in my opinion, the most exciting moment of the entire year.

Money, fast years, and AP classes
Hey everyone!
So today my class went to figure out our "Four year plan" for high school. Now, of course, I'm terrified of how fast that these years will go! It's already the 24th of October! Talk about fast right? Not to mention it being already the end of the first grading period. High school is suppose to be the best times of your life right? Well, I signed up for a million AP and Honors classes. So I have no idea how this is going to turn out. Especially since last year the only advanced class I took was advanced art. (I'm really good at drawing) I'm already in English 9 Honors and it's already pretty crazy. They don't help you very much in class with papers. You're expected to get a pass to go to them after/before school to talk to them about how to write a paper or confusing grammar things like gerunds and the millions of different phrases there are. However, what I want to do is to become a Marine Biologist which brings me to my next subject. Holy cow the marine biology trip is $2,233! That is way too much money. Which makes me incredibly sad because I really wanted to go to Florida and study the sharks there. Maybe when I'm old enough to get a job I'll keep every single paycheck and hopefully by senior year I'll be able to go! Another problem with that theory is the person that takes us on the trip only chooses a few people. So I need to figure out how to stand out in the crowd of hundreds! But anyways by senior year I planned to take 2 AP classes! Tell me if I'm crazy or not. AP Biology and AP English I'm fairly good at both those subjects, considering I became an author in 3rd grade and have been writing novels ever since AP English should be easy for me. Another consideration is that I'm getting basically all A's in Biology right now! I'm incredibly excited for that. Okay... I just realize how incredibly randomized this entire blog is. I guess it's human to go off topic and then back on topic a lot. So hopefully this is okay!

Waking up early on a Saturday
Hey everyone!
So on regular school days, I wake up at 5:30. However, it's a Saturday and I'm waking up at the exact same time! It's horrible! Why am I waking up so early you might ask? It's a competition day! Yup, the LC T.O.P is going to Ben-Davis in Indianapolis! I'm excited, scared, and bored. Bored because I'll be stuck in a tightly packed bus full of 42 guard girls for more than 2 hours. Not fun. But I'm excited because it's going to be the last ever outside competition! All the rest after today are at Lucas Oil Stadium! Yes, Lucas Oil! Home of the Colts! It's amazing. Oh I almost forgot! Check out the guard page because I just posted 2 videos of our show! Just remember though, it's an old competition and we have a whole different costume for parts of it and a different flag instead of that bright blue one. And if you hear "WE ARE! LC! TRIBE OF! PRIDE!" that's what I love to call our "welcome committee." They wave goodbye to us at the high school parking lot and then they follow our buses (all 6 of them!) to the competition where they shout that. It always gives me chills seeing the posters and the shouts and cheers. Which is why I love it all so much! Anyways wish me and all the guard good luck! The weather is supposed to be really nice! But really cold! Yikes!

Tinkerbell

Having fun with blog designs
Hey everyone!
So if you've been paying attention to my blog lately you'd realize that I've been changing the design of it a bunch. For example my last post it was green with a bunch of Tinkerbell all over the place! I decided to tone down the Tink a little bit. As you can see by my new background and header (as done by shabbyblogs.com) Hopefully from now on it won't change as much. However, there are the little things that I still haven't exactly figured out. Like how the links to my old blog posts are in an ineligible color.I'll fix it eventually. But I like how it looks right now! Comment and tell me how you think it looks too. By the way, the weather from yesterday hasn't improved much, in fact it's raining as I'm typing this right now! But the weather for Saturday is suppose to be perfect! A little cold but no rain and only 7 mph winds. You see, wind is a very big deal when it comes to Colorguard because wind affects how we spin/toss our flags and rifles. Lucky for sabers it doesn't affect them because of how heavy they are. Anyways I'll try to keep you up to date!
Sincerely,
Tinkerbell

Bad weather, colorguard, and nostalgia oh my!
Hey everyone!
So the weather today was weird and especially depressing. Not a single big of sun anywhere except for sunrise! Causing a lot of people to be depressed in my classes. However, what definitely confused me about the weather was right above my school it looked like half a tornado! I don't know how to describe it! It obviously wasn't a tornado because the Marching Band and Colorguard were outside but it freaked me out! The clouds above it were all swirled towards it and it was almost like half a funnel of a tornado. Funny enough when I got home the storm siren went off! How about perfect timing? Anyways, the life of Tinkerbell is good right now! the LC T.O.P (tribe of pride) is getting 10x more compliments than ever before. Looks like we might actually get to Grand Nationals this year! Hmm....what else is new? Well, nothing much since the last blog. Oh! The eighth graders from all our middle school bands came to see the marching band today at practice. It gave me nostalgia of my middle school life. I don't care if that was less than a year ago, it's all gone! With the snap of my fingers I went from the silent, nose always in a book sixth grader to the socialite freshman with millions of new friends. It's amazing how fast people can change. Especially when it comes to yourself! But just remember, whether you're the silent type or the hyper type, stay true to you!

Somewhere in Time (spoiler alert!)
Ok, So why are all these random pictures up here? It's Somewhere in Time! Whom most people that read books would refer to as Bid Time Return. But anyways as I said in my first blog I am in colorguard, meaning that yes, I flip a flag. However, what makes it so incredible is that we are the Lake Central Tribe of Pride! We're known as one of the best Colorguards around! And we're not just flipping flags, we're flipping flags that are 8 feet long and flags that are 5 feet long, swords (sabers if you want to be technical) and rifles! Yes! Rifles! Sadly they're not real, but they sure hurt as much as a real one when it's tossed several feet in the air. Anyways, back to our show. Somewhere in Time is based off the movie from the 1980s staring Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeves (yes, he was superman.) The story is about a play writer named Richard Collier who goes the "Grand Hotel" in Michigan ( you can go there if you like! : D) and falls in love with a picture of this girl who was an actress from 1912 named Elise McKenna. So he manages to hypnotize himself to go back in time to meet her by taking away all the things that would remind him of the present. He gets to 1912 and meets her there at the same hotel. They fall in love, but at the brig of happiness Richard looks into his coat pocket to find a penny from 1979. So he is pulled back into the present and dies of depression and dehydration/starvation. It's a very sad story which is why it's perfect for our show! The music is beautiful! I highly suggest the movie or maybe even see our show! We're going to Lucas Oil stadium in Indianapolis in November! It's going to be amazing. Everyone loves our show so much more than ever before. Cross your fingers for us. The Tribe is trying to get to Grand Nationals!
1st blog post!!!!
Dear Readers,
Welcome to Tinkerbell's Life! My name is Calyn Tinklenberg and this is my first ever blog post. I don't know what is to become of this page because honestly, I don't know what is going to be written about. I've never actually read blogs all that much. Actually, now that I think about it, I haven't read any blog at all. Nor have I written one let alone had my own. But, There's plenty of things to tell you about in my life.
For starters, I am 14 years old and am making this blog because of a project my Intro to Journalism class is doing for the rest of the year! 3 posts every 2 weeks! Tell me good luck! Because this is going to be a crazy ride.
One of the things you might expect to see on this page is Colorguard/Winterguard. Both of which I am involved in and it is my life. Guard is what I do after school and it's what I love almost as much as what I dream to be someday. A Marine Biologist.
I LOVE sharks! And I can never get close enough to one to satisfy me. Ok, I know, there's this HUGE tank full of sharks at the Shedd Aquarium, but I want to be near one and touch one. My family thinks I'm crazy for being so obsessed with them. However, I won't babble on and on about sharks because you'll probably see more blog posts later about them.
I won't keep you here for much longer I promise! But hey, if I'm really that interesting you're welcome to stay!
Sincerly,
Tinkerbell
